There are two main views in the Body of Christ: 1) It is death, since it is the second death, and that is literal ceasing to exist and 2) the lake of fire is figurative. Then there is the Christian perspective that it is either 3) eternal annihilation or 4) eternal torment.
Views 1 vs 2 are not core doctrine, due to upholding the gospel, but believing views 3 and 4 deny the gospel since one must believe in the salvation of all to be a member of the Body of Christ.
